Project Engineer - NB

Essential Job Functions:
The role of project engineer will require the candidate to be extremely organized, possess excellent communication skills, work well in both team and autonomous environments, have excellent data management skills, and the right cultural fit. Assigned tasks can include, but are not limited to:
Complete delegated deliverables and action items
Daily tracking of workflow documents
Daily updating spreadsheets
Reporting weekly and monthly metrics, either electronically or at scheduled project meetings
Create and revise configuration files
Presentations in PowerPoint (creation and possibly conducting presentation)
Develop work instructions to ensure repeatability
Quality Management and Continuous Improvement
Assist Program Managers and Engineers
Provide technical support and data analysis
Assistance with internal and external audits
Material planning, ordering, and tracking
Validating and maintaining Engineering Changes
Manage Bill of Material (BOM)
Candidates may be required to work 2nd shift schedules, and/or weekend overtime depending on customer schedules
Qualifications
AS in an engineering discipline, manufacturing, or equivalent experience
Excellence in MS Office required; Access and Project desired
Ability to learn new software is required
The candidate must have the ability to work well with others in a team setting, but also be able to take on new tasks on their own
Ability to read blueprints/mechanical drawings desired
Proficiency with TeamCenter is a plus, but not required
Experience with SAP or other enterprise software strongly desired
Desired knowledge of Quality Management Systems metrics and standards
Familiarity or interest with aerospace industry desired
Experience with project engineering / industrial management desired
Experience with manufacturing processes desired
Previous leadership experience desired

Mostly Office Environments.

Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9 AM to 4 PM
Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations, if required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
