Typical tasks include, but are not limited to the following:
Perform a variety of bench mechanic and / or assembler type operations on jet engine components including development of parts and processes.
Review written instruction sheets, blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, or other written specifications to perform necessary finishing and assembly operations and setup requirements to machine dimensions to maintain specified tolerances of finished parts.
Verify conformance of finished work piece to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
Verify dimensions using measuring instruments, such as micrometers, height gauges when required. Must also maintain Operator Certification to be able to accept / reject parts into the Operator Certification system.
Maintain machines by performing required total preventative maintenance (TPM).
Work with engineers, quality assurance, programmers and other production personnel or others to resolve machining problems and assist in part and process development.
May be assigned to carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives.
Refer difficulties to supervisor.
High School or General Equivalency Diploma Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in, assembly, bench and / or machining.
Must have knowledge of metal finishing methods and machine shop practices and operate a variety of equipment.
Must be able to use shop mathematics, read work instruction and use precision measuring instruments.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
Excellent computer skills
Flexibility around shifts, for training and to maintain workflow, to include overtime
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
FAA Regulations require screening for use of cocaine, amphetamines, PCP, opiates and marijuana prior to placement on the job. Additionally, these regulations require random alcohol and drug testing of employees assigned to PWAS.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
