Job Summary -
  • Write code, create control programs in various platforms and languages
  • Program using relative coordinate systems
  • Conduct process tryouts to test programs; utilize robot simulation software.
  • Revise existing programs to optimize robot motion and efficiency.
  • Program on machine, as well as off line.
  • Evaluate manufacturing processes and recommend process improvements.
  • Interpretation of technical data such as Engineering Drawings, Quality Assurance specifications, etc., which will flow down into process work instructions.
  • Create and modify work instructions for processes including definition of tooling and parameters.
  • Review tool designs, mark-up prints, issue request forms, track tool changes and corrections.
  • Participate in manufacturing reviews and recommend program or tooling changes.
  • Read, write, speak and understand English.

Basic Qualifications -
  • BS Degree in engineering, engineering technology, manufacturing, manufacturing technology, industrial technology or similar field with 5+ years of experience in engineering and/or robotics OR Associates Degree in engineering, engineering technology, manufacturing, manufacturing technology, industrial technology or similar field with 7+ years of experience in engineering and/or robotics OR, in lieu of degree, 11+ years of experience in engineering and/or robotics

Preferred Qualifications -
  • Extensive knowledge of programming on Fanuc or Kawasaki controllers
  • Solid understanding of frames, including tool and user frames.
  • Experience in offline programming using RoboGuide software
  • Understanding of robotic integration, HMI, and end of arm tooling concepts.
  • Experience with machining and special processes.
  • NX knowledge and ability to manipulate models is a plus.
  • Solid project/communication skills; work well under pressure in a time sensitive environment
  • Motivated and willing to learn.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
